London City Airport drop off fine
At London City Airport, you are instructed to not wait in your vehicle or leave your vehicle unattended after you have dropped off a passenger in the drop off zone.
Automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras are used to monitor traffic passing through the airport, and you may receive a penalty charge notice (PCN) if you do not follow the rules.
London City Airport’s website does not display the PCN’s price, but to avoid wasting your hard-earned money, we advise drivers to be as quick as possible when entering the drop off zone.
Picking up passengers at London City Airport
If you are going to LCY to pick up passengers, there will be a pickup sign to direct you to the location.
The prices are as follows:
£6.90 = 0-20 min
£14.90 = 20-30 min
£19.90 = 30 min – 1hr
£24.90 = 1hr – 2hrs
£34.90 = 2hrs – 4hrs
£44.90 = 4hrs – 8hrs
£74.90 = 8hrs – 24hrs
£74.90 = 24hrs
At the exit machines, only card payments are accepted, but if you would like to pay cash, there are payment machines in the pickup area.
If you need more than 20 minutes, you can park at the official on-site parking at London City Airport and leave whenever you are ready.

London City Airport Parking Charges
The Main Stay car park is just a 5-minute walk from the terminal entrance.
Pricing for the Main Stay car park is the same as the pickup prices.
Entering the Main Stay car park
Press the ticket button to gain access to the car park. Once you have entered, keep hold of your ticket until you are ready to leave.
When you receive your ticket, it is important to store it safely. Losing your ticket will result in an extra fee to process the payment.
Exiting the Main Stay car park
Using the ticket you received when entering the car park, you can pay at the paying machines outside the check-in lounge and pick-up area or at the exit barrier.
Please note that cash payments will not be accepted at the barriers. You can only pay by cash using the payment machines.
Once you have paid, you will have 15 minutes to exit the car park. If you leave later than 15 minutes, you will receive an additional payment to exit the car park.
