The Uber Clean Air Plan was introduced to support the ongoing goal of creating a greener London. With their aim to make every car on the Uber app an Electric Vehicle by 2025, EV assistance was created allowing drivers to switch over to an Electric Vehicle at a reduced cost.
Until the 31st of March 2025, you are able to see if you qualify for a funding allocation of £5,000 in EV Assistance under the Uber Clean Air Plan.

No. The Uber Clean Air plan is only available in London for now, but after it’s huge success Uber have now announced that they are planning to expand to even more UK cities.

When using an EV with Uber, you become eligible to be part of Uber green. This allows you to earn 10% more than with Uber X.
When renting a PCO EV, you can claim £300 of EV Assistance from Uber towards each month of your PCO Care Hire contract.
In order to be eligible for the £5,000 EV assistance amount, you will have to have made the switch to an EV before the 30th November 2024.
